When Marvin Scondo…

plays his guitar and his smoky, warm vocals begin, a unique road trip begins not only for the audience, but for him and his band as well.

Marvin has been on stage since he was a child. Whether with his father’s band, Steve Scondo Band, or with his own songs: the feeling of freedom and hope shines through in his music.

Marvin's milestones were the gigs as part of his American tour in Bristol, Tennessee and San José, California. In 2020, Marvin was invited by The Voice Of Germany and was able to inspire all the jurors with his voice, performing songs by Otis Redding & Marvin Gaye in front of an audience of millions with honest praise from the entire jury.

Now in his early thirties, he has played over 1,000 unique, large and small concerts in Germany, Europe, South India and the USA and has contributed to seven albums. For his current album, Marvin worked with the multi-instrumentalist and producer Markus Vollmer (Sing mein Song/Gregor Meyle and others). This resulted in a personal album with my own songs. A symbiosis between Marvin's songwriter-folk roots and his soul-blues influences opens up a musical road trip as a journey through time made up of relaxing, sunny, acoustic sounds and the band's moving uptempo arrangements.

Starting in 2024, Marvin will be playing select shows across Europe throughout the year with EBF Music. The band, including Ben Forrester on guitar, will be pulling from Marvin’s original music, as well as some personally selected blues & soul numbers.
